The role of talc in rubber：
The cooled rubber must be parked and matured in order to achieve the following purposes
1. Make the rubber material recover from fatigue and relax the mechanical stress during mixing
2. Reduce rubber shrinkage.
3. Make the compounding agent continue to diffuse during the parking process to promote uniform dispersion.
4. To further generate bonded rubber between rubber and carbon black to improve the effect of reinforcement. In order to prevent the rubber from sticking to the mixed rubber, talc powder is spread on the surface, or the rubber is immersed in a water tank where the talc powder is dispersed to cool. We let the rubber material pass through the aqueous solution of the anti-sticking agent, and then pass through the cooling machine (blown by a fan) for cooling. After sheeting (or granulating) the rubber material, the temperature of the sheeting still reaches 80-90℃. Rubber is a poor conductor of heat, and storage at such temperatures results in scorch, so forced cooling is required.
